Jive Survivors

We have been running since 2009 when we took over an existing group at West Winch, as they no longer were able to run there. We moved to Tilney St Lawrence in 2016.

We are a friendly group using very experienced dancers as our teaching staff, who are all volunteers, any profit goes back into the club; in the form of freebies and equipment, insurance etc.

Every week is hosted by a different couple on a monthly basis, so you get a different style of dancing and music

The tried and trusted format is freestyle from 7.30pm until we have a  beginners lesson at 8pm, freestyle until the more advanced lesson at 9.15pm; then freestyle until 10.30pm close. All this for just £5 pp per session.

A partner is not necessary as we  move round the people who are attending, so a great way to meet new people and make friends.

We have a loyalty scheme in place, resulting in free sessions and a non-compulsory membership for just £8 per year, giving free entry to special events like our Motown Evenings.

The dress code is informal, we suggest layers as it can get very warm dancing. stilettos are not allowed due to the possible danger of injury.

You are welcome to bring your own drinks or there is  free water and glasses .

There is also a selection of soft drinks  available for sale.
